Here is my shoulder tattoo, designed by me and modified by Kevin, formerly of Black Rose Tattoo, in Bellingham, WA.
These pics are were taken just minutes after it was completed, so the colors have settled down now and aren’t so bright.
I’m from New Zealand so I tried to incorporate Maori/Pacific Island influences in the design.
I’m considering/currently designing a half sleeve/partial chest piece in a a similar style.
Love the puzzle type effect, makes you explore the tattoo even more-so, so that’s a nice touch. As far as color, I love it and it definitely fits the description of a Tucan so to speak, or whatever bird you technically want to call it. Good ink overall. I agree with someone earlier, we’ve been getting some nice ink lately. 😎
