i found out that there are different colours to the meaning of the lotus flower,
i have a page where everything is on but its in dutch, so i will try to put all of those here and translate it
Red lotus,
has the same meaning as the red rose, love,friendship and passion.
blue lotus,
wisdom, knowledge, and inteligence, what different about the blue one comparising to the red one is is that you never see the heart of the flower so the blue one is always closed.
the white lotus,
spritual perfection, mental welbeing and being one with nature.
the pink lotus,
stands for the divine buddha.
Buddha stands for enlightment about live.
the purple lotus,
stands for mysterie and giving honour to all. this one can be shown open as closed as well.
hope this comes in handy about the desision for the colour.
