ok bit of a stupid question but basicsally Im having a half sleeve covering an old cross had done when i was quite young.

The plan is to have a koi, waves, windbars all in black and grey and some lotus flowers and maybe petals in colour to cover up the old cross. I quite like the idea of s few splashes of colour amongst all the black grey but am unsure what colour to have that would work well with black and grey? 2 tones of blue, sepia or maybe really bright red and yellow petals? any opinions or advice is appreciated.
