Well I enjoyed it, if for no other reason than to watch the few truly talented artists teach these these other hacks some humility. The deck seems pretty unevenly stacked here though; that B-Tat guy is awful. Maybe they should have designed his “shop” to look like his kitchen so he’d feel more at home.
FWIW, I agree that Chris Núñez is average at best, but that doesn’t necessarily disqualify him as a judge. Many of us have looked at tens of thousands of tattoos and have a pretty good eye for what’s great, what’s shit, and everything in between – and yet most of us probably have very little, if any, artistic talent.
