Hey everyone, I’m brand new to this forum and it’s pretty rad.
I’ve had this tattoo for about 6 months now and I’d really like to finish it with some more design/shading/not sure really.

It’s a camera my dad drew and I got it done in a shop downtown Chicago, very basic.

I’d like to fill in the “reels” (top circles) with a cool design or something because that’s the part you can really see most.

Any suggestions would be aweeesome!

If it was drawn by your father, (and I assume you got it specifically because he drew it) why would you change it?

Why don’t you just leave the piece like that and add film as a background or something….

It’s a tattoo of a camera and it looks like a camera. Mission accomplished. Adding stuff around it isn’t going to make it look anymore like a camera than it already does. Leave it alone dude.
Move on and spend your money on a new tattoo.
