well the tattoo itself is going to be just below the back of my neck so itll start just under my shirts collar line. initially i was looking at crosses such as the one in the centre of this tattoo
with wings attatched to it rising above it but apparently these are quite common so i need to find something new to incorporate into the design of the cross.

Crosses themselves are pretty common. Some like to put praying hands in front of it. Maybe you could do something different with an old scroll in the background with some scriptures or something.
