There’s an amateur bodybuilder at my gym with a portrait of his 3 kids on his arm. Actually, I’m only guessing that’s what it is because it is so faded at this point that you have to be standing within 5 feet of him to be able to tell what it is. I’ve spoken to him a couple times and know that he hits the tanning booth every week. At this point, he pretty much looks like Ricardo Montalbán, so I have to wonder whatever possessed him to get inked in the first place. It seems about as sensible as dying your hair before you shave your head.

Yeah, ink and tanning booths don’t really go together. Of course it will fade the tattoo quickly. Plus, I’ll never understand the obsession with tanning. You destroy the hell out of your skin and by the time you are 40, it will be wrinkled and have spots all over the place. Hell, I’ve seen mid 20’s kids already looking like hell because of sun exposure. Why age your tat and your skin so quickly?
