So I got my first tattoo month ago (yes, I’m in school when I took this picture)

Anyway, I decided that slowly throughout the next 6-7 years, I was going to slowly add tattoos to my arm and attempt a sleeve (or at least a half sleeve). Not just one big tattoo, but my arm covered in just alot of them connected, with each tattoo having a story. My only worry is that this tat might be a bad starter for a sleeve because its too big? If that makes any sense

Is this a legit worry? Or does it not matter.

Out of personal preferance, and for astetic reasons, big tattoos are perfect for doing sleeve work. If you have a bunch of small designs bunched up, it makes it harder to tie it to tie together into a nice flowing piece. Great start, looks good!
