Hello I’m thinking about getting a tattoo done but I’m not too sure where to get it. I personally like it on the wrist and i dont want it on the forearm as nearly every guy has some tribal tattoo there and its not unique at all. So can you guys help me out on telling me some areas which are female and areas for men.
Thank you. 😉

I don’t really think there are areas for men a women other than MAYBE lower back to some people, but I’ve seen men with lower back tattoos and I think they look just fine. I think it’s more the content of the tattoo than the location. Then again, I have tattoos on my arm and I’m a woman. And many people seem to think this is rather manly, despite the fact my tattoos are things like cupcakes and flowers.

I would say get it wherever you want and not care. Anywhere on your arm is probably considered masculine by most.

Thanks for the information. Is having Stars are your wrist alright for a guy ? Or is that considered somewhat girly as its stars and not tribal patterns.
Thanks 😀

+1 for dags. Placement doesn’t matter its content. As far as the stars on your wrist, i don’t think its girly at all. Now if they were pink stars with rainbow clouds and wind bars, it might be a little girly.

Do you think blue and purple be alright? Because they are the colours of shooting stars.
Thanks

Why do you have this weird obsession with how girly it will look?

If you want it on you and wear it proud, who gives a rats ass what other people think?

Because i don’t like the usual tribal tattoos on forearm. And i don’t want people to give me weird looks if they see a girly tattoo on me espicially in the area i live in.

I agree with Dags on this one as well… the only thing I disagree with is the tattoos on a woman’s arm being manly. I think they can be pretty feminine and sexy as hell I might add. Then again, we are on a tattoo site so I’m sure you would expect no less from me.

To answer your question, I have 6 stars going around my wrist. Being a dude I have never even thought twice about it. mine are just black lines- very basic- so there isn’t much room for debate. You need to watch your color pallet- pastels and girly colors could swing you to the fem side. other than that, go for it… and don’t forget to post some photos.

You do need to be careful here. Back in the day, Lesbians used Nautical Star tattoos to identify themselves to other lezzies and the wrist is where they would put them.

Also, if your looking for a manly spot, ther is only one place a man can put a tat where a chick cannot.

My artist says he’ll tattoo my penis if I nail it to a board.

Im in the same boat….have a band of stars round my wrist. I like mine and have sum good comments bout em. To be honest i agree with the masses in that its not the placement but the content. If you like something you can be damn sure there are going to be ppl who dont. Just remember to keep in mind that your tastes can change vastly over time.
