Well that is just… majestic.
I really love the detail; her eyes are awesome. You picked such an impressive artist.

I’m seriously jealous of this tattoo.

Went to see Nick yesterday and we worked on the third section of my sleeve. This was a “short” 4 hour session… It was much easier than the gas mask girl. We still have to go back and add detail to her but apparently my skin is very soft so we have to be carful not to over work it. My artist is amazingly on top of this stuff and I could not be happier!

Anyway, here’s what we did yesterday. The Skull is in the process of losing it’s gravity- something I think really plays into the dreamy nature of this tat. It’s sitting on a nightstand next to the girls bed but even that is done at a weird trippy angle:

Thanks! I thought it would be easier to trace the whole thing in one thread as opposed to listing multiple threads on the same project.

I got back in on the 2nd of sept. Fun Fun!

Ok, it’s been a while since I updated this so I thought I would put some progress photos up. I’m going back in on Friday to start the work on the final part. We still need to go over the whole thing with white and to refine the detail’s a bit more. It’s good to be coming towards the end, watching the final pieces come together is really cool!

That looks unreal, man!!! His work is amazing! Wear that with pride, for sure!
Nick is gonna be at a tattoo convention here in a couple week, my tattoo artist is actually getting some ink done by him there, so I’m gonna swing by and check it out for sure!!
And again, what a great piece! Love it, the black and grey is wicked!

Really? That’s awesome! you should swing by and say hi, he’s a really cool dude. He had a photo shoot at his shop the other day for some magazine and there were 6 of us that got tat’ed by him. We all went out to a bar and hung out, it was a lot of fun!

Who is your artist?

Good god man, that is unbelieveable. I remember when you first posted the doc. It has come a long way. My favorite is the gas mask girl. What is going in the empty space above the skull? Any plans for future ink?
