Thanks for the welcome folks!

i’m looking at getting a Nautical/Naval themed tattoo as my first (left upper arm placement), i’m leaving the Navy this year after 13 years service so something along the lines of swallows, an anchor, traditional ship, compass rose, possibly my service number incorporated. Maybe having the Antarctic Ocean chart in there somewhere, possibly as part of the background? Once i’ve found a good artist I’ll have to sit down properly and see what they reckon will look good, i don’t want it to be too cluttered with stuff 🙂
Also still trying to decide between colour or black and grey. I’ve seen loads of folk with both types done really well so that’s making it hard to decide!

What do you guys reckon?
