You should come for the riding.

You might get annoyed with all the tribal tattoos here in Hawaii but there’s a big tatt community that you’d enjoy meeting as well as a riding community.

no matter what you do, over the years, it’ll fade. Some of those tatts you’ve seen that are grey are probably older than dirt. It also depends on the quality of the work that was done and the ink choices that artist made.

I sometimes do. I want to know who did the work and what the hell the person was thinking when they got the tatt. I mean, you gotta say, “yes, that’s what I want” before getting inked. At least most times you do.

I looked at Dave Allen’s tatts in the link you provided. I met the Dalai Lama when he came here to Hawaii. He does not look like that. Its almost as if he does his portraits through a fish-eye lens.
