Thanks that was a really helpfull post much appreciated. A lot of places here seem to play on the fact Angelina Jolie got one done there is posters of her everywhere.

Haha not at all thats the thing! Im just kind of trying to see both sides in my head. If the general view from the tattoo community so to speak is a no then I will go with that. As health is obviously far more important than a sak yant on my arm.

Haha I understand, but if there was a major infection problem surely there would be more people speaking up about it considering the amount of people who have them done.
A quick google only results in that one guy from here who seemed to have got it
Done at a beach hut type place. I understand that the gun is ultimately cleaner but as long as the bamboo is safe and the risk is extremely low the quick healing time could outweigh the very small possible risk. Maybe I’m just trying to convince myself I’m not sure!

Thanks for your replies so far. This tattoo shop is a proper shop and does gun tattoos as well as is supposed to be very hygeinic. The main reason I was interested in bamboo was the quick healing time as I will be travelling. The shop has a Facebook page with loads on and no complaints so it should be safe shouldn’t it??
