appreciate the idea, but I already checked him out and he seems a little too painterly for me. I think I’m just gonna sit on this one awhile and not actively pursue getting it fixed up. Plus, I”m considering lightening it with laser removal, so I’m currently looking into that. I think that will open up many more options for what I can do with it.

Yeah seems to be a common theme. Maybe up and coming artists are the way to go.

I posted a previous thread about cover up ideas on it. Basically, this is my only “artistic” tattoo, but it didn’t turn out anything like I would’ve imagined and have been disappointed with it ever since.

Makes sense. I guess I was exposed to tattoos through a football locker room, so I started with a different take of them being “tight” rather than artistic. I’ve now realized how artistic and beautiful they can be!

That seems like a tough one to put in picture. You can always just have it quoted, written on the inside of your arm, and put something else on the outside that is or isn’t related.

damn, Phil Garcia is real nice. I’m looking to get b/g because I also want gladiolus flowers and I am assuming it might look feminine to get colored gladiolus, although I think colored roses look great.

Appreciate the input from everybody, it definitely helped, as I am an incredibly indecisive person. I decided to hold off from getting it done now. I’m in contact with Joshua Carlton and live about 45 min away so i’m gonna see what he can do for me.

I agree, Gogue and Carlton are great. Gogue is booked out two years though, Carlton I’m not sure of. Looking at his portfolio, most of his work is pastel looking (although incredible don’t get me wrong). Do you think he could do the flowers without his blur looking style coming out?
