Also, I’m not sure if it’s just the demographic of our shop in particular but when tend to pierce probably 65%-75% Teen Girls ages 16-20 (Under 18 with parent of-coarse) maybe the young age makes them more nervous by nature?

My advice bro, even if you plan on sticking with B&G you should still get another session to put in all your mid tones, subtle tones, highlights etc. Looks real good but looks to me like the artist was under the impression that you would be adding color in the future, because thats how we shade when doing a color piece not a B&G piece. 1 more…[Read more]

Most likely u were told that because newer collectors. (Clients that have less than say $1,500.00 in work on them can easily get confused and use A&D wrong. A&D being a petroleum based ointment if used incorrectly, ie. over saturation, can begin to work as a drawling salve and pulling on your ink causing less then sought after results. The…[Read more]

A bit of advice bro. Pull random images off the net, use a light table and do nothing but trace outlines for a long time, use Micron Pens. When you feel confident maybe re-try your apprenticeship. Hard work and dedication my friend will almost pay off. If you are diligent enough you can accomplish ANYTHING you set your mind to.

This is 9 times out of 10 just general anxiety. Try some calming techniques next time. I get apx. 1 person a week that passes out on me, be it from piercing or tattoo work. Anxiety causes you to hyperventilate causing your O2 levels to rapidly increase causing you to lose consciousness. Always eat within 4 hours prior to getting worked on also.
