There are two shops in the town in live in and judging by the less than impressive tattoos I see on people here, they are not great.

I choose an artist based on their work, not whether they are well-known, but I think it is easier to get an look at a well-known artists work, as many use Instagram etc.

I’m never short of tattoo ideas. I think I would set up appointments more often if I had more money and waiting lists weren’t as long.

The smell of Dettol reminds me of tattoos.

I think of tattoo ideas all the time, but I would only consider turning one in to an actually tattoo if I have been very keen on the idea for six months or more. It would be then I would consider contacting an artist and then waiting… it then depends on the artist’s waiting list I guess.

I was watching this on 4OD the other night. Wow, people make the weirdest choices when it comes to tattoos… I can’t believe how little thought some of those people gave to their choices. I just kept thinking: you get what you pay for.

I probably like more tattoos as art than as tattoos I would consider on my own body. There are some truely amazing artists who’s work I very much admire, but it just isn’t something I would want on me.

London is one of the biggies and there are some amazing artists who come over for it. Sadly it is the one weekend a year I have to work. That makes me very sad 🙁

I would expect many of the very well know artists will have bookings lined up already. Bet it never hurts to ask 😀

Not sure how comfortable you’d be driving after having had a back piece done, but it’s not impossible.
