    i’ll make it short

weeks ago a boyfriend of hers broke her heart and moved in with someone else who was underage.

she and him were friends a few weeks after this dispite my warning that it was too soon and he was a jackass.

one night they went out and i do know her ex was with her but i don’t know if he wanted her to get the tattoo. he is COVERED in tattoos

she got a outline of a rose in black and white and its pretty big.!

i suggested she go get it lasered off but she said it hurts too bad.

how can i convince her to take it off? she’s only 19!!

I see what you are saying….she probably wouldn’t have got the tattoo if it wasn’t for the guy…at least thats what i think you are saying.

It seems like though its more you that wants her to get rid of the tattoo…you could probably figure out a way to convince her to remove it…but in the end …its because you wanted her to remove it..not because she wanted to remove it.

I have 3 tattoos all on my ankles. I got them when I was 18, 20, and 21. Now I’m 31 and kinda wish I didn’t have them. It’s something that won’t go away unless you have it permanently removed. That could be costly and painful. She will come around give her sometime to figure it on her own.

don’t try to control her life..if she wants a tattoo she wants a tattoo, if you were doing something you wouldn’t want your friend trying to stop you unless it was bad right? tattoos aren’t bad and they’re a personal choice.

If she really want to remove tattoo then you can have consultation with any tattoo removal specialist, this will clear her doubts and fear.
However there is no point in forcing her for removing tattoo.
And these days laser tattoo removal is polular and is less painful. First got for consultation.

With the greatest of respect t’s really none of your business to try to persued her either way. You also need to be carefull you don’t give her a complex about the tattoo. If someone is telling you constantly that something is wrong with your body it can have a serious effect in the persons confidence and create alsorts of problems, just like telling someone they are ugly or fat all the time.
Tattoos can represent our past, our life and the times we have, good and bad, and you without the tattoo will never understand if it does mean anything or nothing to her, it’s not like putting a poster above your bed. If people expect to always feel the same about something then they are rather naive. I’m sure the majority of people with tattoos wouldn’t have the exact same tattoos they have now after 20 years or whatever if they had a clean skin and were able to start again, that coz we change and our thoughts change with us, and modern methods change with artists capabilities as well as design, and to be honest the majority don’t realise this until we occasionally take stock of what we have and try to install old thoughts on our more modern life. It doesn’t work like that so…………..
This tattoo will be fine, if it is effecting her negatively then she will get it removed. She doen’t need you or anyone else to persued her how to change her body.
