    Hello, I am getting a tattoo done in a couple of days on my back, however a couple of days ago I got some small red spots in the area I am geeting tattooed. These are not big whitehead spots or anything more just like little red circle (barely if at all raise) what is the likelyhood that this will affect me getting my tattoo?

    Welcome to the forum.

    If the spots are an issue, the tattoo artist may work around them and touch them up at a later time.

    Hey guys, got it done today. Was not an issue at all, bear in mind though these were just little red bumps not massive spots or anything.

    I don’t think my artist would have touched it before verifying it was not a contagious event. Red circles can be indication of ringworm fungus, RMSF, other things.
