    hey guys,

I just got my tattoo done about 3 days ago on my wrist…

It was crisp for the first day I got it done but then the next day it looked as if it had bled out or something?

Looks like there’s some blue fuzz outside certain letters. I’m not sure if it’s bruised… Sort of hoping it is.

Can’t tell for sure until its healed but to me it looks blown out. There really isn’t much u can’t do about it either without messing it up.

So blowouts can occur like a day after you get the tattoo? Does that mean my tattooist, who has been tattooing for 11 years is dodgy or is it because of my skin?

    There she blows!

No a blow out happens at the time of the tattoo when the tattooist goes to deep. The ink goes out the back of the skin so it takes awhile to migrate.

    Welcome to the forum.

With a “blowout” the damage is done instantly, but may not become visible for a day or so while the ink mingles with your body’s fluids.

Answer to your question, for the 3rd time. Yes… It is a blowout.
