I dont really understand them, I’m an apprentice, teaching myself since I can’t go to a shop to apprentice since no shop around here are accepting apprenticeships. One thing I dont understand is the different sized grips. Why do artists use 1 inch grips or 3/4 inch grips or half inch grips? How do they help? I use 3/4 inch grips and they’re good for me but if it would make my art better I really dont mind using a larger or smaller grip. I just dont know what they are for.
