hi everyone,

Ive got a new tattoo on my right rib. I work in a kitchen and its usualy hot in it!….is heat bad for new tattoos?!

And after the tattoo has completely healed i went back to my tattooist to retouch it. So i restarted doing lotion (i use easy tattoo creme) allover it again…the question is ….is lotion bad for healed tattoos?

Sry for my english! And pls help me couse i get a little paranoid sometimes

Paranoia about your ink can be a good thing…at least you’ll take care of it!

Excessive sweat can be hard on your new tattoo.
If you’re skin (don’t touch the tattoo itself) has become oily or damp…possibly give your tattoo a quick rinse with a bottle of clean water.

But lotion is NOT bad for your tattoo.
Keep using it. If you put lotion on every day for the rest of your life it would actually be a good thing.

hi, rly big 10q for ur replay!!
actually i never sweat so its not a big problem, but i thought high temp can damage the tattoo in a way!
