Well the artist I go to is good but I wouldn’t say he’s an expert. I know he can do the outline and everything perfectly…just worried about the shading….

have a look through his portfolio to see if he’s shading skills are up to scratch and what you are expecting from thsi piece. this should help you make the decision whether you want to go with this artist or find another.
don’t dismiss looking at other artists.

You should definately look at their book and see what their shade work looks like. Also you should show this picture to your artist and ask them to draw you something similar, you don’t want to get someone else’s exact tattoo.
