I currently have a tattoo on the upper part of my arm, deltoid area. And I’m wanting to toss another tattoo in the same areaish. I’m working towards an upper sleeve, due to work and possible work employers. So I want something I can hide, if I need to. Anyway, I just can’t seem to picture where I want it. I have two pictures I’m looking to putting on and I guess the placement will tell me which I’ll get..

Also, I don’t have any long term plans for the sleeve, just obviously picking out my hobbies and putting them on as I go. So it’s more of a wing’n it kind of deal.

I’m hoping you guys get what I’m trying to say, but here are some pics for visuals.

    Hope this makes sense.

This is of the current tattoo.

And these are the three possible tats. I’m leaning towards the first trick.

“Wing’n it” isn’t something I’d suggest. Get a plan together that you won’t regret and stick to it. You’ll have it forever so there needs to be a lot of thought and consideration to it. You’ll appreciate it that much more if you do take the time. But the idea of images with bike riding seems pretty rad.

What are your other hobbies? I think planning ahead after you listed all your hobbies is a good idea…

By wing’n it, I mean that it’ll be a long term deal. I don’t have a map of what I want. But I see what you guys are saying, looking back on it, I think my plcement of my first tat is in a bad area for what I’m wanting to do, only problem is I didn’t have stuntin’ in my life 2 years ago, nor had the idea of getting a sleeve..

Perhaps I can sketch out ideas and then wrap it around my arm and see what it’ll look like.

I wish I liked animal tattoos.. Another major part of my life is reptiles but don’t care for the art work of them, heh..

Maybe I should start fresh on the other arm with the stunting Idea and just map out ideas with that and not stick it in a cliche’ spot like I did with my Muay Thai statue.

What reptile artwork are you talking about? There are soooo many different styles. There’s tribal, realistic/portrait, cartoon, fictional/fantasy, outline, etc… I really think a color realistic reptile sleeve would be pretty awesome. An ex-coworker of mine had a sleeve with just prairie animals in it and it looks pretty awesome. And then he had wildflowers as the fill in. It looks amazing.

Here are some examples of some nicely done reptile tats you should look into:

You should bring images to your tattoo artist like these. Tell them you want a reptile sleeve and then they’ll fit the images you like the most together on your arm almost like a puzzle. Understand that a sleeve is very expensive and will take several sittings. But if I were getting a sleeve, I’d get something like this as well. It’s an awesome idea. I hope by showing you these images you’re a little more open-minded about getting a tat that’s one more of your passions.
