    I want to get it done in LA by Kat Von D, so I allready know who I want to do it, but where on my body should this go, its both designs too.

    Why pay over twice as much as the tattoo is worth just to have kat von d do it? I’ve looked through her work and she seems to be good at portraits and greywash but that’s about it. Why not go to a great tattoo artist who won’t overcharge you because he’s ‘famous’.

    You should get it on your forearm. That would look nice.

    i think that the star should go on your neck (under hair line ) or on your wrist and the bird on you upper back (shoulder blade)

    Personally i would probably get a design that included both and made them both seem more like one. Copy the design, and get one on each front of shoulder, or collar bone.

    Best of luck getting it by Kat. Maybe you know her personally but its also been going around that she doesnt tattoo any under $500. But best of luck!!
