I know this may be a dumb thing to ask but I am getting my first tattoo next month and i’m curious how long it will take. it will be about 3/4 of one of my pectorals, the design will be classic American and only have two colors (black and red), and if it helps the artist is very experienced in the classic style. thanks. should look something like this http://www.tattoostime.com/images/399/classic-black-ink-grim-reaper-tattoo-on-sleeve.jpg

every tattooer works at their own speed,maybe 2 or 3 hours ? maybe longer, why does it matter ?

Why do people always ask how long a tattoo will take instead of something important like is this tattooist that I picked any good?
