Hi, so i have been reading about aloe vera on tattoos for aftercare, i have searched this topic and have found 50/50 on using it for aftercare. Anyone have any personal experience good or bad?

I was personally going to try and use a mix of Aloe vera and curel lotion which i would use on the 2-3rd day using aquaphor on the first 1-2-3 days

Aloe Vera has healing properties, but I believe it’s also an anti-septic, which would definitely be a big no-no.

I think I remember reading where plenty of people have had reactions to aloe but I might be wrong.

You’re not wrong.

Statistically, I don’t know how common it is, but it’s common enough that I wouldn’t risk using it unless you’ve used it before without issues.
