Hey everyone.

I’ve had the tattoo below completed over a two month period over three sessions. The first session was the linework which healed beautifully, the second was the Koi itself, which again, came out great, but after the third (10 days ago) I seem to have had a reaction to the yellow ink.

It turns out that the artist used a different brand of yellow ink on the bamboo and flowers (the yellow on the fish hearled fine, so I know it’s not all yellows).

It’s come out in a kind of eczema rash under the colour.

I went to see the artist and he said to let it completley heal, then he’ll go over it with the original yellow used.

So – I have a few questions!

I’m currently using E45 to moisturise – is this a good idea?

Will it heal out? If not, will the rash settle down?

Is there anything I should be doing to help the matter (I’ve seen that some people use Piriton).

TIA

Steve

What is E45? I would just suggest non-scented no vitamins lotion, Eucherin is great.

I would have him do some work on those waves as they just do not fit, maybe add more???
