Hey guys, new here and new to the tattoo scene, got my first tattoo last Wednesday, i wash it twice a day and

keep it moisturized regularly. It has started to scab over and while applying lotion today i noticed that part of

the scab on one of the letters in my quote came off while i was rubbing in the lotion. There is ink underneath and

from doing a little reading im assuming this is the scab flaking and is normal. Im just looking to make sure that the

piece that has come off isnt going to be a lighter shade then the rest of the lettering and that its a normal

occurrence. I would attempt to take photos of what i mean but its most likely to hard to see.

A little more info on the tattoo, its simply a quote written on a banner with a little shading to it.

All help is greatly appreciated. 🙂
