So I’m getting my first tattoo in about a week and a half, and I’ve been reading a few different after care guides. I’m still a little confused on the list of products I need though. So I was wondering if these sound ok. For the antibacterial soap, I have dial antibacterial liquid soap, but it’s scented, a&d ointment(I also have some aquaphor lying around), and eucerin unscented lotion. Is this all I need. Does that list sound ok?

For your first tattoo I would strongly suggest you follow the after care instructions given to you by your tattooist

Yeah I actually called the shop today while I was running to a couple stores, and the guy I talked to, told me all the artists recommend aquaphor, then lubriderm unscented lotion. He didn’t mention any soap, but while I was picking the lubriderm up, I got some dove unscented bar soap.
