I just got my tattoo finished, well sorta of i just need to do the shading. Isnt it true not to wash it till the next day? because i didnt wash my tattoo with soap i just put on the a & d ointment because i just got it done today at around 5. and its 10 now.

also, if its raised, is that just swelling? or is it infected already? Its really red? and it wasnt like that when i got my small little rose the first time i went…..here i’ll take a picture.

Did you not go to reputable artist that would give you tattoo aftercare instructions???
Lots of artists have thier different ideas on aftercare.
    These are mine….

    1. Take wrap off in 1 hour
    2. Wash tattoo carefully with warm soapy water
    3. DO NOT SCRUB!!
    4. Lightly pat the tattoo until dry… DO NOT RUB!!!
    5. Apply a very thin coat of bepanthen 3 times a day for 3 to 5 days using very little ointment, just enough to make the tattoo shiny
    6. Be sure and wash the tattoo every night and morning… DO NOT SOAK!!
    7. Avoid tattoo exposure to direct sunlight and refrain from swimming in fresh, salt or chlorinated water for at least 2 weeks

    AFTER EXTERNAL HEALING
Tattoos heal quickly BUT fading can still be a problem…
Apply unscented/dye free hand lotion once a day until dryness stops
(Vaseline Intensive Care, Vitamin E cream Nivea, etc)

    Tanning fades tattoos
Always cover fully healed tattoo with sun block (spf30 min)
    DO NOT RUIN YOUR INVESTMENT!!!

Remember if you run into ANY problems with your tattoo please contact us immediately. Treat your tattoo with care… Improper care and bad advice can destroy your art

It’s extremely important you acknowledge infection is always possible as a result of obtaining a tattoo, as it is with any external wound, particularly in the event that you do not take proper care of your tattoo. If you follow all instructions concerning the care of your tattoo while it is healing, any touch-up work needed, due to your own inattention, will be done at your own expense. Should there be any unexplained fading etc and you followed the care instructions we will touch-up free of charge.

were they written in english or some kind of alien language:confused: Always wash your new tattoo, it takes away the blood platelets that have started to form on the skin. I wouldnt be getting anymore tattoos until you know how to look after them properly, sorry if this sounds harsh, but i get annoyed when people dont look after their artwork.:( If you didnt understand you should have asked the artist to run it by you again so you knew what to do.

You sound dizzy yet very strangely cute:p, anyway, you will be fine. No perfect science to tattoo recovery, you just need to clean it.
