It’s been 4 weeks and 5 days since I got a small tattoo on my inner ankle, which has been taking much longer to heal than my other tattoos. I have two tattoos on my ribs that finished peeling and scabbing after 7-10 days and looked great after the scabs fell off.
With this tattoo, it took 2 weeks and 5 days for all the scabs to fall off. Two weeks later and I feel like the tattoo looks dry/wrinkly. Is this normal?
Hi Jessica! I wish I had an answer for you, but just wanted to say that I am in a very similar situation. My small wave tattoo is also on my inner ankle and it has been 6 weeks for me, and the skin still looks wrinkled and is raised and glossy over the lines.
Maybe this is a slower healing area of the body? I am really hoping that it eventually settles into the skin. How is it looking for you now that it’s been some time? Did it ever look better?
