I recently got a large tattoo on the inside forearm that may not be healing correctly. The tattoo color looks really uneven, smokey gray, and the outline color seems to have risen to the top skin layer in certain areas.

My artist told me to use cocoa butter but I’m finding it leaves me itchy throughout the day. Wondering if I’m allergic to cocoa butter. I wash the tattoo about every 4-6 hours as told by my tattoo artist. pics are added below.
