Hi, I got my second tattoo 4 days ago (Thursday) and it’s now Monday. I’m sure I’m just being paranoid and have been google searching too much but I’m a bit worried about how it’s healing. My first tattoo was in full colour and this one is full black so I think it’s healing a bit differently. I followed my artist’s instructions exactly – washing with antibacterial soap, applying acriflex ointment etc. It just looks weird?
There’s a rough top layer and the skin around it looks puckered and tight. And it’s still slightly red and tight/sore. It hasn’t started flaking yet.
The first pic is how it was fresh and the second is how it is now. I’m sure I’m making a fuss but someone please ease my paranoia!!
