So I just started a new job and i cant have any visible piercings, my boss wont let me wear a clear plug or cover my ear with a bandaid either so she said i have to take my plug out (8 gauge). My work shifts are about 8 hours long, and i pierced my ears back in mid april – I had them pierced at a 10 and stretched to an 8 at the same day. Since I don’t want to keep forcing the plug back in after every shift at work I am thinking about just letting them close to a normal 18. Would it be easier to just by like 14 or 16g hoops and just let my lobes close around them now, I dont start working until next week?. I just want them to close as easy as possible without any infection etc. I want to keep them at an 18 though I dont want to re-pierce my ears if they close completely. Whats the best possible way of doing this??
