Ok, so i want to build a 3/4 length sleeve and the starting point was a nice guardian angel which I had 7 of hours on , 2 days ago.

I came out the shop horrified. It doesnt look much like the original design, and I although it is not finished ( still shoulder capping and bits around to do ) , i hate the face and the amount of very dark black blocks around the image.

Any ideas how I can rescue this?

well its an original looking piece . how much does it differ from the design ?
it might look a lot lighter when it heals , shading often does

Original indeed. I hate it! 🙁

The original picture is a nice looking angel, with wings on the outside and her hand placed on her chest.

This cannot even be made out on the tattoo!

can not really make out much from the pic .
sorry your not happy with your tattoo , i’m not really sure what to suggest .
if you are really that unhappy with it you will have to laser it and cover it up. but you will have to wait a while till its completely healed .

did you give your artist control over the design ? have you any copies of the original design ?
