    Hey everyone

Last weekend I completed my “Venombites” with another 2 lip rings on the left side of my mouth.
This time they’ve swollen slightly more than the last, and on the inside of my lip where the fresh piercings are there are some fairly large-ish white areas.
They’re not green or yellow or anything,
But are bright white areas normal in the healing process?
I recall having some tiny white areas around the 2 I got on the right last year but no where near as noticeably large as these ones.

Could they be infected or is it just my body’s healing process?

    Help!

You will be best to seek advice from one of the piercers but I’d hope it is a recovery process, white skin is usually dead skin and eventually yellow, If it stays white I’d expect it to recover, if it goes yellow and flakes off then you’ll be fine, if it goes yellow and stays yellow I’d grab some antibiotics!
