Don’t skimp on an artist your 17 it is going to on you for 60+ years.
I thought the same thing about the viking portrait as well, but I’m assuming it was still fresh and would lighten after healing. I know the day after I got my Ash portrait and went back for work on the rest of the half sleeve, the artist commented that it actually looked darker the second day.
