Hey everyone, I just got my first tattoo on the 20th of February. I’ve had it for around 11 days now and it seems to be healed as far as I can tell. The skin is smooth. No more bumps, no more peeling or scabs or pain. I am new to this so I’m not sure if there is more to come. I got this tattoo in Thailand and am a bit unsure if I should get tested. I went with a friend who has a tattoo already and he told me that the shop was just as clean if not cleaner and the procedures were the same as back home ( New needles, gloves, etc.) Has anyone else gotten a tattoo overseas in a supposed “unsafe” area. Anyways I love it, but it is a bit weird getting used to, some days I love it, and others it’s like wtf did I do type deal (that’s only been 1 day though). But overall, love it, now I just have to break it to my parents 😮

There is a spot or two that I am going to get fixed after a few weeks. One being the left side spike, not having a crisp V shaped line.

I like the spot you chose on your inner forearm. Can’t advise you on the oversea issue though. Good luck with it.

Looks like a good tattoo.:) I guess if you want to get tested, go for it.
