    Hello hello!
I am nearly finished my first tattoo. I have one sitting left to add another 6 inches to the bottom of it. I am really happy with how it’s turning out.

Life is transient and ever changing. Considering how quickly cherry blossoms come and go, I thought this was quite fitting for me. I’m on the edge of some huge life changes, and I thought this was a way of solidifying that. Oh, the irony of putting something perminant on my body to depict the consistant change of life! haha
They are also there to remind me that there can be beauty in suffering.

I’d love to hear what you all think!
    🙂

I think that’s great, I’m very fond of cherry blossom tattoos (And I’m a guy).
It actually seems like a brave first tattoo to me. Have fun.

Yeah I don’t think I’ve ever seen them done in black and gray either.
I know cherry blossoms are somewhat common for floral tattoos, but I thought doing it in graywash would help make it a little more unique 🙂

That’s awesome! What is your sleeve?
I’m glad I chose a big tattoo. I’m quite tall, and I thought a small tattoo would get lost on me, so I decided to go all out. 😀

    Dude, that’s beautiful!
I can’t wait to see more of it.

I know, it’s very very addicting. I want to get a phoenix covering my right thigh and going up my hip next I think.

i got my cherry blossoms finished today!
i’ll probably wait a good year before i do my next piece just to be certain that it’s what i want. i waited about a year before i went through with the cherry blossoms.
    i’m so happy with them!
but i hurt right now. haha
