Hi guys,

First question is it possible to put white ink into black work to give it some more natural looking shading?

I have a piece of blackwork on my arm which I’d like to turn into part of a half sleeve, the original piece is solid black with no depth to it whatsoever, I’m keen to get the artist to pump some white into the original old black work to stop it looking really flat and boring in the middle of a nicely shaded sleeve but need to know if it’s actually possible.
