Hey guys, i want to cover a scar on my right arm, pretty big about 4-5 inches long. I want to cover it with a tattoo that looks like the flesh is ripping away and you can see inside(not sure what you call this). But i would also like to make atleast a half sleeve out of this, so i dont know what else to incorporate into the tatto. Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙂
Believe it or not, that’s called a skin rip 😀
As above, bio-mech or bio-organic styles work extremely well with skin rips and just happen to be my favourite tattoos although they aren’t particularly popular.
There’s an example in my signature although it’s a lot more specific than just a skin rip example .
Actually, thinking about it, I couldn’t update my album for some reason so I don’t think the finished article is in there but here’s a picture showing more of the rip.
