Please take a look at the 6 or 7 pics from my portfolio of 3 weeks i have uploaded to my albums and tell me what you think. Be honest but constructive please! Do i have the ability or raw talent to make it into the tattoo world?

Keep working on it. You have talent that is for certain, you just need to refine it a little. Undoubtedly time and practice will sort that out. To see some of the others that are looking at starting out have a look at their work DON B for example.

I think you should do what I did, at 15 I signed up for weekend classes at one of the finest art colleges in america, I was pretty hot shit in elementary and high school, gave me a real perspective of how good the best are, made me a better artist (I dont tattoo) and grounded me…………there are some wicked good folks out there, they could out draw you in 3rd grade…….but the good news is you can get better, with the right instruction and hard work you could be very good

No you’re a long way off getting an apprenticeship. Enrol into some art classes, or better yet a degree if you can.

I gotta agree with everyone else, bro. You’ve got a good base, but you are a long way from being ready to apprentice. Buy some books, DEFINITELY take some classes, and practice, practice, practice! You’ll get there if you want it badly enough.
