This is the first tattoo that I’m getting and I’d like to hear what you guys think. Its for my grandfather that served in the military for over 30 (airforce as you can see) and then under it I’m getting his name. It’s going on my left peck. This man means the world to me and I thought other people should be able to see that in addition to being a great grandfather, he served his country proudly.

You may want to pick something different then the US Air force insignia.

as above

although he may well have been a good man with good intentions, the US military aren’t as popular these days due to more recent events

you might find yourself explaining your reasons behind it each time someone sees it
