Hello. I might as well throw my introduction here. I’m Steve, from central MD. I have had work done in the past. I do know what I am getting on the 13th but I cannot find any samples online of what this sort of thing would look like when completed, so I was hoping someone could chime in on how the fill-in of this design might turn out. Any input is appreciated.

I have uploaded two images here:

The first image is a mock-up of the shape/ratio of the design, which will spread across the front and side of my rib cage.

The second image is what will fill in the shapes in the first image (not exactly, but close enough) – pitch black space filled with the occasional blue- to red-tinted shiny star. I am a little concerned because I have not found any tattoos which convey a bright object in a black background; what do you guys think about this sort of thing as fill-in?

Here is another image which resembles the fill-in:

Before I realized how cool the deep-space fill-in could look, I was planning to get the design filled in with solid black. What are your thoughts on that vs. the star design?

Thank you.

And to answer anyone who inquires regarding the meaning of this tattoo:

1. I am Turkish – this image contains the symbol on the flag of Turkey, where my beloved family is.

2. This image contains the symbol of Islam – although I am not religious, Islam is the religion whose followers have treated me most compassionate and made me most comfortable in my travels overseas.

3. I am an amateur astronomer, thus: moons/star. This is also why I will be continuing the theme with the fill-ins that I am.
