Alright, so I want to get a tattoo. I was thinking of getting some sort of sword, either alone, with fire on it, or some sort of snake or dragon wrapped around it. there would also be a simple Latin phrase on it somewhere with any of these combos.

i’d like a phrase that says something/reminds me:
-about my integrity
-to live without regret
-that i should be comfortable with who i am
-that i should stand for what i believe in
-that will remind me that today wont be around tomorrow / i need to enjoy myself in the moment
example: “tomorrow is not a promise”
-only i can keep myself down/from moving forward

note: having the sword already represents certain things to me, and adding the fire or the dragon will add stuff as well. so what I really need to decide is which phrase I want.

note2: i asked for help somewhere else and all I got was flamed for being a poser. it’s not about what you think, it’s about what I think. If I was getting this for other people, then I’d get a tribal.

What kind of sword, that in itself could also create another depth of meaning.Spanish/ pirate Cutlass, roman gladius, katana, or my personal favorite Japanese sword pistol:

Or it could be a bayonet if you had family that served in any wars. Normally if you have anything slightly cultural in your family history, or like a certain area all you have to do is type that region into google and add swords right after it. Part Inuit, they have pretty neat bone spears instead of sword. India has pretty epic swords as well.

This caught my eye: http://www.darksteelreplica.com/deluxe-sword-of-king-solomon-c-2-p-2-pr-359.html

I happen to be Jewish too, so this would also represent my roots. Plus I think it looks pretty cool, too.
