came up with an idea for a lgihtning bolt sleeve…
alot of people get flames n such but wiht my tattoos i go a little bit out ofthe box. was thinking of a lgihtning bolt sleeve, but not the cartoony type i wanted one with strong detail and realistic.
any tips or suggestions or drawing/pics people have to help me with my idea.
I kind of have something along those lines. Basically a cloudy, lightning filled sky over a city being consumed by an explosion. Its somewhat more cartoony, but i really like it. You will really need to plan it out, and use a contrasting background to get the lightning to really pop. I went with a yellow colour because me and my artist didnt think pure white lightning bolts would last (you know how white pigment is..). Pics:
