Hey, i’m 17 and ive been thinking about my first tattoo since i was 13. I really wont be getting my tat until next june, but i am still rumaging around for ideas. I think i finally picked out my first tattoo, an african daisy, on my left shoulder blade. but i was wondering how long does a tattoo about the size of a girl’s palm take? and what about black and white versus colored?
the pain aspect im not looking forward to, but it doesnt put me off either, but how bad is it?

Have you ever had a chinese bamboo shoot stuck under your skin while being sunburnt? It’s just like that.
Really, there’s nothing that anyone can tell you to let you know how much it’s going to hurt. Everyone experiences pain differently- some people will tell you it didn’t hurt at all and others will tell you that it boarders on unbearable. The best way to find out is to just go and get it done. Tell yourself on the way in that you are walking out with a complete tattoo and no amount of pain will stop you.
