Hello people, so here is the deal, i have a tatto on my wrist, and at first i had it done in a pink color, and after 2 touchups, it still looks splotchy, and some areas were darker and more solid than others.

so I decided to get it re-done in a darker color to help make its more solid looking.

I had it re-done last friday in a dark red, almost rusty color, and it flaked off and all that good stuff, but it still does not look as solid as i would like.

I dont know if its just my skin and tattoo’s dont go well, or if its my artist?

I’m considering going black to make it solid, i just really dislike how some areas are a rusty brown color, and other areas are nearly pink.

I’ve seen tons of work my artist has done, and its all been pretty good, but I dont know if i should just go somewhere else and pay them to work on it, and i’m starting to get worried about the number of times i’ve gone over my tattoo. she freehandly traced the outline of the old one, and this one is not as straight as i would like.

any / all advice is apreciated.

(there is still some skin that has yet to flake on the bottom of the cross)

I just want a simple solid cross.and i’m just trying to figure out if the problem is me or the artist. I dont wanna do too much to it where its non fixable, but dont wanna keep going to the same artist if she can’t deliver what i want.

Its your tattooist. Are you sure you didn’t get your neighbor to do it? It doesn’t look professionally done. Find a reputable pro and its an easy fox. Good luck.

it’s strange that it’s doing that! seems like too simple of a tattoo for an artist to mess up. but yeah, seems like it would be a simple fix for someone else to do. that said, i personally like the old, worn look of it. but it would look nice all clean and solid too. good luck!
