I’m pretty sure I am within the “legal” confines of this forum to post this topic…

If any of you had any idea of the shit-poor drawings I produce…you would immediately laugh at the idea of me being a tattoo artist. I have no such desire!
I’m just super curious about anything tattoo related.

I had the benefit of being worked on while the local inspector came into my artist’s shop.
It was actually kind of a cool experience.

He came in…told Bill he was going to take a look around.
A few minutes later, he asked where the spore tests were. Bill promptly answered.
Then he came back in wondering if Bill had records of the new door girl’s shot records. Another prompt answer.
He then came into the “tattooing room” (official name?) and had a look around.
After a while he asked if it was OK if he filmed Bill working on me for a minute: neither of us had any objections.
The inspector commented on how “awesome” my piece looked; said the shop looked really good…and walked out without any negative marks on the shop.

I guess my questions would be…
What exactly does a health inspector look for in a tattoo studio?
And how often are these spore tests taken?
