I’m thinking of doing a full color stained-glass catholic style full sleeve on my right arm, with The Virgin Mary on my upper arm and I want my family crest incorperated as well http://www.scottish-clans.org/clans/images/crest2.gif but that still leaves a lot of space. Any ideas or opinions? Also pic/links of any stained glass tattoos would be appreciated.

Stained glass windows were brought in so that those who could not read were able to follow the history of martyrs/saints histories within the Catholic church.
Is there any history of your family origins you could do in a stained glass style?
Alternatively you could have the family emblem enlarged and made into a stain glass window effect.
